Platonov
Kleczewska has created Platonov an ambitious tragedy and a romantic comedy in one. At the same time, she has emphasized the position of actors who in the 21st century have to recite such pompous lines as ‘I will never forget you’ or ‘A woman has paid you a visit, I cannot believe it’. In the end, this interesting experiment has resulted in a show with brilliant roles and strong scenes.
