Three women of different age and on different career levels lose their jobs.
It will all start with a conversation about the meaning and value of work, about ambitions and fears, about the instability, about the workplace and its discontinuous character, about the working rhythm and subjectively felt working time. The perspectives of the fictional characters will mingle with the real-life perspectives of the three actresses, whose workplace has been disrupted. The performance combines the level of personal experiences with a broader perspective where work is seen as a part of a dynamically changing capitalist global economy. For the three characters it becomes a kind of a game where they deal with different work situations. They are reconstructing the work stories of another women by trying to impersonate them and understand their experiences. They are traveling through different social classes, occupations and workplaces, eventually through different positions in the economic hierarchy. This fictional journey helps the women enter the space of utopia. By imagining the kind of working conditions and workplaces that would allow to reveal what is best in man or woman they unknowingly start constructing an alternative socio-economic system.
